Last January we announced that our co-founder Manny Hernandez would be leaving Diabetes Hands Foundation. This morning we are happy that we are able to share the news that Manny has landed at Livongo Health as Senior Vice President, Member Experience.
From the Livongo Health Pressrelease:
Manny Hernandez, a non-profit leader and advocate for people with diabetes, has joined Livongo Health as Senior Vice President, Member Experience. In this role he will ensure that Livongo for Diabetes™ is a seamless, easy-to-use, and successful experience for members. Manny will also foster and enhance relationships with employers, industry and advocacy partners, and foundations in acknowledgement of the diverse and tightly interconnected ecosystem of which Livongo Health is part.
Livongo Health is a consumer digital health company that is empowering people with chronic conditions to live better. The company is reinventing the way health is managed by combining technology, real-time information, and human support to make life easier, starting with diabetes.
“Livongo Health’s approach to managing chronic conditions is the wave of the future for consumers who want to maintain their health, and the people who pay for it,” said Glen Tullman, Chief Executive Officer at Livongo Health. “Manny Hernandez will enhance our quest to keep user experience top of mind, maintaining its simplicity as we evolve our programs, tools, and additional interfaces for our members.”
We know that Manny is going to continue advocating for people touched by diabetes. After Manny’s departure, Diabetes Hands Foundation announced the appointment of an Interim Executive Director Melissa Lee.
