A community for people touched by diabetes
in Spanish
EsTuDiabetes.org is the sister community of TuDiabetes.org ® and the only social network of its kind in Spanish.
The community was founded in August 2007 to serve the very different needs of people touched by diabetes who only spoke Spanish. Soon, the community started receiving visits from all over the Spanish-speaking world.
Since April 2008, the community saw explosive growth, doubling in size and turning into one of the top destinations for people with diabetes seeking for information and support in Spanish on the web.
Most of the members come from Mexico (30%), Spain (17%), Argentina (10%), Venezuela (9%), Colombia (7%) and the United States (5%).
The community has been featured in newspapers and other media, such as El Universal and Diario Panorama (Venezuela), the Yo Con Diabetes magazine (Mexico) and Mi Zona Hispana (NYC).
